Our Newcomer Assistance is here to provide comprehensive legal support to help you with the administrative requirements of settling in Denmark. The package includes the following services:
- Obtaining the CPR number– 10-digit personal number that is assigned to every resident in Denmark, including both Danish citizens and foreign nationals who live in Denmark for more than three months. It is issued by the Danish Civil Registration System (CPR-registeret) and is a central part of the Danish public administration.
- Sundhedskort/Sygesikringsbevis – Health insurance card
Sundhedskort is a health insurance card that proves your entitlement to health services covered by the Danish public healthcare system. It gives you access to medical treatment in Denmark, including visits to the general practitioner (GP), specialists, hospitals, and certain types of treatment and medication that are reimbursed by the state.
The CPR number is essential for accessing public services in Denmark, such as healthcare, taxes, and social benefits. It’s also necessary for registering for a job or opening a bank account. We will assist you with the registration process, explain how to use your CPR number, and ensure you are properly integrated into the Danish system. - NemKonto
A NemKonto is a designated account for receiving payments from public institutions, such as wages, tax refunds, and other official payments. We assist you in setting up your NemKonto with your bank of choice and provide guidance on managing it effectively. - Bank account
We also assist you in opening a local bank account. - Understanding your rights and responsabilities
